Yakitori Lab Murasaki brings Fukuoka's yakitori culture to Kuala Lumpur. Skewers grilled fresh at a lively counter, and rich chicken-bone (tori paitan) ramen — the flavours of a Japanese izakaya night, in Solaris Mont Kiara.
Our story
The science of yakitori, perfected since 2007
焼鳥を科学して、20年。
Chef Daiji Murasaki opened the first Yakitori Lab in Fukuoka in 2007. In 2023 he brought his craft to Malaysia — first with his signature toripaitan ramen, then opening Yakitori Lab Murasaki in Solaris Mont Kiara in May 2025, in collaboration with Fukuoka's Murasaki Yakitori Kenkyūjo. Every skewer is grilled to order, neck-to-tail — the way it's done back home.
